Personal Update:

Hey everyone! Hope you're having a great July. The team and I finished up our newest update! It's focused on the swamp that was previously incomplete, as well as expanding out into the ocean south of Atlas city. Please let us know if you run into any issues in the Discord linked in the map's description!

Major Changes:

  1. Completed the Olympus Swamp.
  2. Expanded the ocean on the south western side of the map.
  3. The players have asked, and a prison has been added to the map!
  4. Added Farefallen Docks.
  5. Added a long suspension bridge.
  6. Added a custom fishing loot table, go see what you can fish up!
  7. Added an oil rig in the ocean.
  8. Added the Niyol Mine south west of the desert basin. Descend into the depths if you dare.
  9. Moved the Minecraft version up to 1.18.2.
Minor Changes:
  1. Added more guns to the map.
  2. Sector F in Atlas Labs has been completed. Be careful not to press any buttons!
  3. Added the Emerald Embezzlers and their home.
  4. Moved the sunken Evac Boat Delta near the suspension bridge.
  5. The Amora Yacht has drifted out to sea…
  6. Added a couple more custom crafting items. Find them in the survival notes.
  7. You are now able to get more copies of the survival notes in the Settings Room.
  8. Added usable medkits.
  9. Added more billboards around the map.
  10. Removed the Atlas Labs boss (T-Subject 1028)
  11. Mining Emerald Ore now drops Uranium.
  12. Added internet articles sprinkled around the world. AIlie the AI will be happy to read them out to you!
Bug Fixes:
  1. Fixed a typo on the signs directing people how to enter the Lucky 38.
  2. Fixed an issue where General Doug would not stay spawned if you ran away from him.
  3. Salvage’s Army Echo Division spawning has been modified.
  4. Changed the eye patch dropped by Captain Edward from a polished blackstone button to black dye.
  5. Replaced old bullets not used for the guns in the aircraft carrier to usable ones now.
  6. Added loot to the empty chests in Atlas.
  7. The “I need a gas mask" message that is meant to play in Atlas has been fixed.
  8. Optimized the brewery. Throwing ingredients and recipe books are now separate and you will now get unused items back for making brews.
  9. Fixed an issue with the thirst mechanic.
  10. Fixed an issue where the Zombie Chestplate and Crown of Envy in the Ruins were not craftable.
  11. Nerfed the RadAway and StimPacks found in the Red Rocket.
  12. Fixed an issue with the Ruin advancements.
  13. Fixed the subway power issue for the final time.

hi I just wanted to say that the starter book like the instructions on how to make a campfire said use coal and NOT charcoal, it only works with charcoal just wanted to let you guys know cuz it confused me at first

Is there any way to turn everything included in "Miscellaneous features" on EXCEPT for players turning to zombies after death? thanks

Uhh there is no actual way without doing some digging on my end.

However...
Players don't ACTUALLY turn into zombies. It's more of when a player dies, a zombie is spawned where they died that has the ability to pick up items so they could pick up armour or a weapon (if keep inventory is off), and it's called like "<username>'s corpse". It's more of an immersion thing and doesn't affect gameplay at all. But if you still want that section off then I can grab the command to disable that specifically.

if you could that would be helpful! the reason why i want to disable it is because i have another mod that does a similar thing (the hordes) and i like the way that mod does it a little better

Hello im a greek player, I love ur map prolly the best made map i've ever made but i really enjoy putting mods on such maps and so i had some problems



1.The first mod i use is to add some more mobs which is Mutationcraft and my problem is that nothing spawns expect the zombies from the spawners so how can i fix that plz help :c



2. Enhanced Celestials is a mod where it puts stuff such as blood moons etc and i've had in my world (its a server im playing with my 3 other friends) we had 171 days and we yet to have any bloodmoons or anything so it doesnt work how can i fix that ?

I am greek to and I have a server but dont use this mods I played with my friends but they got bored of the zombie apocalypse rp and I was left to explore the map it has so many little secrets.

1. Natural mob spawning is disabled, for obvious reasons such as don't want creepers and skeletons spawning in a zombie apocalypse map. You can turn it on, however then that'll cause all hostile mobs to spawn, and using a mod like Bad Mobs can cause issues with some special mobs such as bosses and such if they aren't allowed to spawn. I'm pretty sure you can change that in config where they're allowed to spawn through commandblocks and such but not allow their natural spawn (but I'm not certain on that). To enable mob spawning, do /gamerule doMobSpawning true

2. That would be a mod issue and nothing we can help with the map. The map is vanilla made and we don't offer support in regards to debugging the map if it doesn't work with a mod. Best we do is just provide the knowledge we know we have but otherwise that is out of our control.
